Potassium Clavulanic Acid is known as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, but only works specifically on the penicillinase enzymes affecting Amoxicillin. Microcrystalline Cellulose is a commonly used excipient that stabilizes Potassium Clavulanic Acid when combined 1:1. The combined product is used in the manufacture of tablets after the addition of Amoxicillin and other excipients.  

Beta-lactamases are enzymes produced by bacteria that provide multi-resistance to β-lactam antibiotics such as Amoxicillin. Potassium Clavulanic Acid is known as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, but only works specifically on the penicillinase enzymes affecting Amoxicillin. Thus, when combined with Amoxicillin, the Clavulanic Acid prevents beta-lactamase enzymes from destroying the antibiotic Amoxicillin.  

Dicloxacillin is a chlorinated derivative of Oxacillin, meaning it is also a semisynthetic derivative of penicillin used as a narrow-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic. Dicloxacillin is resistant to beta-lactamase (also known as penicillinase) enzymes secreted by many penicillin-resistant bacteria, and is thus used against staphylococci (like Oxacillin).  

Mometasone Furoate is an anti-inflammatory synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid. It is a prodrug of the free form Mometasone, a medium-potency synthetic corticosteroid.  

Cefadroxil is a broad-spectrum 1st generation cephalosporin used as a beta-lactam antibiotic. Cefadroxil is a para-hydroxy derivative of Cephalexin.  

Rifampicin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic often used as the 1st line of defense drug for the treatment of tuberculosis. Rifampicin belongs to the Rifamycin group of antibiotics, a subclass of Ansamycins.  

Azithromycin is a semi-synthetic Macrolide antibiotic, belonging to the Azalide class. In combination with Ceftriaxone, Azithromycin is part of the CDC recommended regimen for the treatment of gonorrhea.  

Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor drug that inhibits gastric acid secretion. It is used for the short-term treatment of erosion and ulceration of the esophagus caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease.
